Metroman and Chief Advisor to Kochi Metro E Sreedharan said that he is not hurt over his exclusion from the dais of the Kochi metro inaugural ceremony.
“The Prime Minister’s security is more important. There is no need to raise a controversy over the incident. The authorities should act according to the instructions of the security agencies. I am not at all hurt by the PMO’s decision to exclude me from the dais of the inaugural function. And If I am invited later, I will be in the dais,” Sreedharan said.
He conducted the the final inspection of the metro stations along with KMRL officials at the Palarivattom station.
He was excluded from the list of dignitaries, who will share the dais at the inaugural ceremony of Kochi Metro on June 17, by the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to the list given by the Prime Minister’s Office, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu, Kerala Governor P Sathasivam, Kochi Mayor Soumini Jain, Transport Minister Thomas Chandy and KV Thomas MP will be on the dais at the inaugural ceremony.
